My name is Mandi, and I grew up with these peaks and rivers in my backyard. Colorado’s wild spirit has always been a part of my life. When I was eight or nine, I saw a wild bear from just a few feet away while swinging on a tire in our yard — my first real taste of adventure, and a moment that quietly shaped how I see the natural world.

Years later, it was my daughter who taught me how to ski, bringing everything full circle and deepening my appreciation for this land. From mountain towns to quiet hideaways, I’ve spent years exploring Colorado with curiosity and care; collecting stories, moments, and lived experience along the way.

Colorado isn’t just scenery; it’s a living landscape with memory, rhythm, and contrast.
